Skyrim Weapon De-LARP-ification Project

Once you see the thick blades as I do, you cannot unsee them… Unless you install this mod.

1. INTRODUCTION

A lot of the weapons are… thick. Abnormally thick. “Not a cutting edge” thick. I know that blades can’t be as thin as they are in real life on account of them otherwise disappearing because of pixel aliasing, but COME ON! These aren’t supposed to look like LARP weapons!

This mod goes through a lot of the 1stperson meshes for many weapons (mainly swords, but some axes too) and thins them. Probably not to the level of real life, but enough so they actually look like… yaknow… *swords*.

Weapons affected:
SKYRIM:
various Iron weapons (Dagger, Claymore, War Axe, Battle Axe)
Akaviri Katana
Steel Dagger
Dwarven blades (sword, dagger, greatsword)
Ebony Dagger, Ebony Sword, Ebony War Axe, Ebony Battleaxe, Ebony Greatsword
Daedric Blades, Daedric Axes (Battle Axe provided as example of the absurd thickness)
Bound Weapons (Sword, Battleaxe)
Mehrunes’ Razor (Shouldn’t it be… yaknow… *razor* thin?)
Nightingale Blade
Blade of Woe
Silver Sword/Greatsword
Steel Battleaxe, Draugr/NordHero Sword/Greatsword
Falmer Sword
Rueful Axe
Scimitar
Elven Battleaxe
Glass Greatsword

DAWNGUARD:
Dawnguard War Axe (normal, rune)
Dragonbone Dagger, Sword, Battleaxe, Greatsword

DRAGONBORN:
Nordic Carved War Axe
Stalhrim Sword, War Axe, Greatsword, Battleaxe

I may do more later.

Note that I copied over all the 1stperson-grade meshes to cover the non-1stperson meshes. Higher scene polycount will ensue (though hopefully not noticeable on framerate unless you have an ancient machine).

I also included some positioning fixes for the 1stperson Dwarven War Axe, and also fixed the missing scabbard for the NPC dwarven sword.
