Description

No more carrying a thousand potions, this mod basically allows you to create cocktails of the original potions effects. The effects of the ingredients themselves haven’t changed much, just the way you put them together.

For Example, instead of having to select “Fortify Block” along with “Fortify One-Handed,” “Fortify Light Armor,” and “Fortify Marksman” every time you enter battle you can just use one potion: “Fortify Ranger,” which lasts 10 minutes. This goes for poisons too – though they don’t last 10 minutes.

You’ll find yourself going out of your way to collect additional ingredients, even buying them after selling ones you don’t want, making sense of why they are for sell in the first place.

Compatibility: since everything is vanilla, this should work with most mods, SkyUI and SkyRe are good to go. You can’t extract from new ingredients from other mods (or DLC, like Crimson Nirnroot) and changes to the alchemy perk tree may cause some issues.

How to use Chemistry

Extract Poison-based compounds from the Extractor and Potion-based compounds from the Diffusor. Then combine them into new potions/poisons described below. You can also extract these compounds from in-game poisons & potions, but not the ones you create.

The Extractor and Diffusor should be available in all Vanilla Houses (including Hearthfire homes), but if you prefer your house mod, just use these console commands:
player.placeatme 110214F8 for the Extractor
player.placeatme 110214F9 for the Diffusor
They’ll land somewhere around you- all you have to do is find them and move them wherever you want. These ID #’s can change depending on the content you have, if they don’t work use:
help Diffuser and help Extractor
to find the ID #’s. Take the second listed ID for each item (not the first!), and insert it in
player.placeatme #########

INSTALLATION: Pretty straightforward, just make sure it’s in your Data file. To make sure that the compounds & potions you made don’t get erased, remember to rename the file to whatever the current version is.
