Cake O’Clock – Hearthfire Bakery
A bakery in Solitude where you can buy all of the tasty food added by Hearthfire.
I was bored yesterday and decided to make myself a mod (heaven forbid I actually play the game…), so after some thinking, I made a bakery in Solitude where you can buy all of the tasty food added by Hearthfire, because I swear I never find it anywhere in Skyrim when I’m hungry. I’m pretty sure there must be some mod out there that does this already, but my 2-minute search didn’t return anything. Anyway, here it is.
The file has been cleaned with TES5EDIT, REQUIRES HEARTHFIRE, is fully navmeshed and has no scripts, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.
== WHAT IS THIS THEN?==
As I said, it’s just a bakery, the Cake O’Clock, that I put together in Solitude, behind the hall of the dead. The merchant here works all day, selling the new food and ingredients from Hearthfire – crostatas, dumplings, wine, and so on. That’s all there is to it, no new foods or recipes added.
There’s an oven in the bakery as well that you can borrow, if you’re a poor Dragonborn like me who cannot afford any big fancy house with baking equipment.
You can choose to have the bakery behind the hall of the dead, or between Bits and Pieces and Radiant Raiment. DO NOT USE BOTH AT THE SAME TIME!
This mod should be compatible with other mods that edit Solitude, as I am using several (about 5) with no problems. But, if you find some issues with other mods you may be using, please let me know so I can list them here.
