Description:
Dark Glade is a new world space with several floating islands with unique dungeons and encounters. There are 5 minor dungeons and an additional large dungeon with its own worldspace, with hidden treasures throughout the way. There are plenty of harvestable plants and hand placed ingredients of all types strewn about for your alchemist, and several atronachs and spirit warriors to give your lvl 10-25 dragonborn a challenging fight.
STORY:
Far out near the eastern isles, a single ship bearing the Tsaesci Flag was spotted lingering back off to its homeland, with weary looking sailors at its deck.Now, wild talk of an abandoned treasure and long lost islands rings through every tavern from Cathnoquey to Solitude. But what could force a people that once dared invade the shores of Skyrim to turn tail and flee? And what makes you think you will last a day upon… THE DARK GLADE!!
There is a medium sized Player home obtainable at the end of this mod, with 5 mannequins, 10+ weapon racks, 9 display cases, A well stocked alchemy lab, an absolutely enchanting enchanting lab, an indoor bath and a mixture of the winterhold library bookshelves and several player home bookshelves. The alchemy lab includes several skill books. Italso includes a cookpot and an anvil.
A new Illusion spell is also obtainable in the final dungeon, along with a new alchemical ingredient.
I started this mod several months ago as a personal art project to occupy my spare time, and decided to try my hand at making levels and adding unique encounters.As such It is being presented as is, no suggestions or requests will be entertained. There are no scripts to make you cry, no quests to break your game. Allassets are from the base game that I tried to artfully peace together to make all new environments. It is it’s own worldspace and should not conflict with vanillaSkyrim or other mods. Myself and my friend Buschy have tested this mod and our games have gone unbroken for 78 strait hours and still counting. With those assurances and more, I will not be coming back to this mod. It was a pleasure to build, but I will be moving on. I hope you all enjoy this enchanting new world!
How to get there: There is a trapdoor on the boat next to the east empire warehouse in solitude. You can return by the ship or from a map in the player home bedroom.
If you plan on bringing followers I urge you to install a mod that allows followers to teleport to you, the Islands and some interiors have jumping/platformingAspects to them that Skyrim AI is not able to navigate, so you will find that after leaping over pits of death like Indiana Jones, you will otherwise be painfully alone. I personally use Extended Follower Framework for this and find it works beautifully for my needs.
