If you are one of these people who loves spooky stories, and making their game feel darker, well you probably downloaded all of the amazing and elaborate mods out there that allowed you to do so.
I collected all of the *horror* themed books vanilla game could offer, before downloading mods that implemented more. So truth be told, this mod is plain simple. It merely adds more of it. Why? Because one never has enough.
As of version 1.2, this mod adds thirteen books, and one compilation of actual Canadian (mostly french canadian) and American folkstales, adapted to the flavour of Tamriel. Some of them may not be as lore friendly as I would have desired, but I tried my best to also keep them true to the originals. I do plan to add more in the future.
Stories as of now:
I. Hircine and his Hounds (The Devil and the Werewolves)
II. La Corriveau
III. Where’s my Liver
IV. Rose Latulipe
V. I’m Coming Down Now!
VI. That Pesky Fellow
VII. Jack O’Lantern
VIII. Prison Break
IX. The Lady in the Veil
X. Black magic
XI. Don’t Sell My House
XII. The Shrouded Horseman
XIII. The Brothers’ Revenge

This being my first mod, I tried to add a tiny bitsy little backstory.
Your search begins in Morthal. Pay a little visit to dear Falion and be curious enough to take a peek at his mail.
To find the compilation, follow the indications to the well known cellar of the small town (if sneaky enough, you can just make it in there and not have to do the vanilla related quest) to find the compilation in the corner of the room, on the table.
Otherwise, if you prefer to have all stories as individual books, Falion will be selling them.
