Legend of the Ancient Scrolls (a Bible mod)
This is a mod for Christians or anyone who doesn’t mind some bible blended into their Elder Scrolls, which marries 3 mods together (2 of which are required files)…
1)Bible (by Tetradite) (REQUIRED)
2)YHWH’s Children Bible Treasure Hunt (by makemelogin/pforpterodactyl) (REQUIRED)
3)Bible Load Screens (by tcbflash) (already INCLUDED)
“When the Imperial Empire raided and ravaged the land of Tamriel, they destroyed anything and everything associated with Talos, even the ancient Holy scrolls. At least they thought they did… while the Imperials basked in their riches, the inhabitants of High Hrothgar whisked away one surviving copy of each scroll and hid them across Skyrim, knowing one day one would arise to find them and reassemble the long forgotten truth of Talos, or “Jesus” as he was referred to in the ancient elder tongue. Needless to say, if anyone were to ever collect all 57 of these writings and reunite the Holy scriptures into one master Holy book, it would be the most VALUABLE artifact in all of Tamriel… I have so much more explain, but those pages will have to wait, I hear them searching for me… must hide this book…”

Just to fully clarify the point of this mod… there is a mod that adds the bible itself (a single book, which in the actual game is NOT the whole text of the bible, but just has a few quotes- it REPRESENTS the bible, basically) to Skyrim, then there is a mod that adds all of the individual separate books (which DO contain full text of each book respectively) scattered across the land, as a sort of treasure hunt. Now, THIS mod brings those together, so that when you find all of the individual books, you can assemble them together (craft at tanning rack) to make the Holy bible (which, again, is the first mod’s book, the “representation” of the bible (we have to roleplay here, too much text for one book, game engine…), which is an extremely valuable artifact (based on the premise we’ve created, that there is only one remaining copy of each scripture left on Nirn, waiting to be found and assembled). So, in sum, this mod creates a sort of “quest” to create the Bible in Skyrim (and gain a hefty monetary reward should you choose to sell it!), although I don’t know how to turn it into an actual “quest” in game, but it’s a quest in the oldschool RPG kind of way, you get the idea… 🙂 ) (and then I added in the bible load screens, because, why not…)
PS- Just thought of something else to mention, beware when reading the descriptions of the 2 other mods, especially the one called “Bible”, that I have obviously changed things around, so while his mod description will say that you can find the bible already intact in Solitude, this is no longer true… the bible now does not exist in the game, not intact anyway, UNTIL you track down all the “pieces” to it, i.e. the individual books, AKA, the “Ancient Scrolls”.
