Realistic Smoke and Embers
Higher detailed, new textures related to embers and smoke.
From Bethesda’s High Res Texture Pack, only the giant’s wood texture was improved from 256×512 to 512×1024.
Missing textures, weirdly colored logs/embers are not a fault of this mod. Download the fix here.

1.3 Fire effects removed for future mod, delete gradients folder and fxsmokesoftsub.dds and fxsmokesoftsub01.dds if updating from a previous version

To Install:
Extract “Data” folder from 7zip file and place in […]\steamapps\common\skyrim folder.
Manual installation tutorial courtesy of dreadfear (Maya).
To Update:
Extract “Data” folder from 7zip file and place in […]\steamapps\common\skyrim folder and overwrite everything.
To Uninstall delete the following:
Embers:
fxembers.dds in data\textures\effects.
Smoke:
smokeparticles01.dds in data\textures\effects.
Giant’s Fire Wood:
giantwoodfires01.dds and giantwoodfires01_g.dds in data\textures\clutter\woodfires.
Ash:
ash01_g.dds in data\textures\clutter.
ash01.dds and ash01_n.dds in data\textures\clutter\woodfires.
