Umbra Island Director’s Cut

This mod adds a new small land to the game. 5 new armor recolors and a new sword. This mod was inspired by the Resident evil, Metroid and Dark Souls series.

FEATURES:
1- A new Island/Dungeon to explore, full of hazards, puzzles and deadly enemies.
2- Five challenging Bosses.
3- Five new Armor Sets. (recolors and reshapes of vanilla armors)
4- A New Powerful Sword for those who conquer the island.
5- A quest that won’t hold your hand, once you arrive to the island, you are on your own.

HOW TO START THE QUEST:
Go to Farengar’s office in Dragonsreach, you will find a new book on his desk.
You’ll need at least a LVL 20+ Character in order to survive.
Turn all your in-game subtitles ON, so you can see the dialogue.

CHANGES MADE TO THIS NEW VERSION:
Umbra Island went through a major overhaul to make it more accessible for more people. It’s not easier is just more intuitive:

No more overpowered, on hit kill, damage sponge enemies. All my mobs and Bosses were reverted back to their Vanilla Skyrim values. Now you can use the in-game Difficulty Settings to determine how hard you want this mod to be.

NPCs now give better clues to guide the player.
Some Puzzles were vague and the player didn’t really know what was he doing, quality of life improvements have been implemented.
Some design improvements and changes have been made to the island, for better navigation and orientation.
Navmesh tweaks for interiors and exteriors.

INSTALLATION:
Use you favorite mod manager.

UNINSTALL:
Safe to uninstall, No fancy scripting was done here.

COMPATIBILITY:
For immersion purposes I don’t recommend the use of Weather mods that change the Climates of Skyrim in radical ways. Umbra Island is not supposed to be Sunny. The Weather of this Island is deeply tied to the Story and design, even some dialogue reference the rain, so keep that in mind.

REQUIREMENTS:
My NPCs don’t have voice acting but dialogue should work, I included empty sound files for all my NPC dialogues. If for some reason the subtitles still don’t show correctly, please install:
Fuz Ro D’oh – Silent Voice by SHADEME

The musical theme I used for Umbra Island was composed by: Ross Bugden – Musicand it’s called “Flight Hymn”

THANK YOU AND ENJOY!.
