Zoners High Performance ENB
High performance ENB designed for weaker systems.
Purple lens flare bug? Change bfloatpointrendertarget=1 to bfloatpointrendertarget=0 in Skyrimperfs.ini
Introduction:
Extremely High Performance ENB built on the barebones 0.108 DLL. Frame rate drops on weaker systems should not be more than 3-5 FPS, and less than 2 FPS on more powerful sytems. Does not include extra effects generally present in ENB’s like SSAO, DoF, etc.
Prerequisites:
You need the ENB 0.108 DLL from Enbdev.com
You also need Revamped Exterior Fog
Installation:
Go to Boris’s site and get ENB v0.108(True HDR).
Backup/Delete any older ENB enb files that you have.
Extract the files downloaded from ENBdev.com
Copy all files inside the extracted WRAPPER folder to your Skyrim folder. (Where Skyrim.exe is)
Extract my config files and copy to the Skyrim folder, overwrite if prompted.
ONLY FOR OPTIMUS USERS: Rename the d3d9.dll file in the Skyrim folder to “d3d9orig.dll”; download NVIDIA OPTIMUS D3D9 DLL FIX, and extract the d3d9.dll it contains to the Skyrim folder.
Fixes/Notes:
Make sure that bFloatPointRenderTarget=0 in Skyrimperfs.ini; if bFloatPointRenderTarget=1, you will get a nasty lens flare bug.
MSAA can be used with this ENB
An important tweak that I use to make the environment look better is increase the shadow draw distance to around 10000 or so, this makes the distant trees also have shadows on them, without this tweak the distant trees look odd. You can reduce shadow resolution in order to keep the same framerate in tradeoff.
